This is delicious! It is a low fat recipe, without the low fat taste. The exotic spices of garam masala make this dish excellent to serve at any time. I cut the chicken breasts up so that the meat can absorb the wonderful spices easier. This is fabulous!
I saw the famously foul-mouthed chef do this on a live TV cook-a-long. It’s an easy curry to prepare, and big on flavour.
This is a recipe that I adapted from a recipe my MIL made while I was in India. It is FABULOUS, and is even served for breakfast quite often in her house! (I could eat it for every meal LOL) I donut know the actual name of the chilies they use, but at home I generally use either 2 of the small chiles labeled “hot green chiles” from the market, or I use serranos. The ginger I generally just run over my microplane.

This recipe appeared in the Chicago Tribune on 4/17/02. The dish has turned out to be extremely popular but be advised that it’s very spicy when the recipe proportions are adhered to. Unless you want a super-hot dish, I recommend cutting back on the ground red pepper in the marinade. It may also be a good idea to remove the seeds and veins from the jalapeño chile in the sauce.
