Savor the rich, nutty goodness of Pecan Pie: a luscious filling of pecans, eggs, butter, and syrup nestled in a flaky crust, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of pecan pieces
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 prepared pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat
    Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C)
  2. Beat
    Beat eggs slightly. Add milk, salt and sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add syrup and mix well.
  4. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
  5. Pour into pie shell. Spread evenly.
  6. Bake
    Bake for 45 minutes until firm like custard. Do not overbake!
