
Irish Beer Bread
This beer bread is quick to make and has a wonderful, slightly dense texture with a crispy crust. The beer adds a unique flavor, and you can experiment with different types of beer to vary the taste. Goes great with soup or a hearty stew.

- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 12 oz bottle of beer, (choose a beer with flavor, like a pale ale or lager or stout)
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted – for brushing on top

Add BeerPour the entire bottle of beer into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. The batter will be thick and sticky.
