From the CFiander Family Collection: Crisp cabbage, onion, and bell pepper, bathed in a sweet and tangy marinade of vinegar, sugar, and oil.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 head of cabbage, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup of vinegar
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of Vegetable oil
  • celery, seed to taste
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix
    Mix ingredients
  2. Set
    Let marinate overnight

Notes

Cole slaw will keep for 1 week in the refrigerator. Optional: Add shredded carrot for color.
