This vintage Fresh Strawberry Dessert recipe uses fresh strawberries, strawberry jello, whipped cream and marshmallows. Great for potlucks and large gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of strawberries, halved
  • 12 marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 package of strawberry Jello mix
  • 1 pint (2 cups) of water
  • 1 cup of whipped cream

Instructions

  • Mix together strawberries, sugar and marshmallows. Let sit for 1 hour.
  • Make jello mixture
    Dissolve jello in boiling water, stir until thickened. Let cool for a few minutes.
  • Whip the jello until fluffy and light pinkish.
  • Combine
    Mix together strawberry marshmallow mixture with Jello. Fold in whipped cream.
  • Chill thoroughly.
