Emma’s Mexican Balls: A cherished family recipe blending flour, sugar, vanilla, margarine, & pecans. Baked, dusted with powdered sugar, & pure nostalgia.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of margarine
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups of flour
  • 1/2 cup of pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Cream
    Cream together margarine and sugar.
  3. Add
    Mix in flour, vanilla and nuts
  4. Shape
    Shape into balls. Place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake
    Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
