Ed’s Ritz-y Meatballs
Dad’s secret ingredient; Ritz crackers add a buttery taste and a slightly crunchy texture.

- 1 pound of beef, ground (or a combination of beef and pork)
- 1 sleeve of Ritz crackers, finely crushed
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 egg(s), large
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 cups of marinara sauce, homemade or store bought (Dad used Ragu)

Preheat the OvenPreheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Meatball Mixture:In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, crushed Ritz crackers, Parmesan cheese, eggs, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the MeatballsShape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them in a baking dish.

Bake the MeatballsBake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.

Prepare the SauceIn a saucepan simmer the sauce for 5-10 minutes.

Combine Meatballs and SauceOnce the meatballs are done, transfer them to the simmering sauce. Gently coat the meatballs with the sauce.
