Date Roll

Ingredients

- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 pound of pitted dates
- 1/2 to 1 full cup of chopped nuts
Instructions

Mix sugar and milk.

In a sauce pan, cook until the first stage of forming a soft ball.

Add dates and cook another 5 minutes.

Add nuts and mix/beat until it turns stiff.

Transfer to parchment paper and roll, smoothing the shape as you go until you have the shape of a log.

Chill until firm, at least 2-6 hours

Slice into pieces with a very sharp knife.
