- 1 package or pound of gnocchi
- 2 tablespoons of butter, unsalted
- 2 leek(s), cleaned and thinly sliced (white and light green parts only)
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of Parmesan cheese, shredded
- salt and pepper, to taste
- parsley, chopped for garnish

Cook the gnocchiCook the premade gnocchi according to the package instructions. Usually, you’ll just need to boil them until they float to the surface, which takes about 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

SautéIn a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced leeks and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are softened.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add creamPour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the leeks and garlic. Allow the mixture to come to a gentle simmer.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, continuing to stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
