Aunt Kim’s Cranberry Pudding & Sauce

Ingredients
Pudding
3 tablespoons of shortening
1 egg
1 cup of milk
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 cups of cranberries, rinsed
Sauce
2/3 cup of butter
1 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
2 cups of heavy cream (whipping cream)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

PreheatPreheat oven to 350F

WhiskWhisk together dry ingredients

MixMix together shortening, sugar, egg and milk

CombineMix together dry and wet mixtures

FoldGently fold in cranberries

BakeBake in a 9×13 pan at 350F for 30-40 mins.

Sauce

MixMelt butter in a saucepan. Stir in sugar until dissolved then add whipping cream. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
