  2. cook in a little cider juice until soft.

  3. press through food mill

  4. add rest of cider and bring to a boil.

  5. add sugar and spices, stir occasionally

  6. simmer several hours until thick [heaps in a spoon].

  7. should be a dark brown color.

  8. can cook in a nesco electric slow cooker for 24 hours.

  9. freeze or process 10 minutes in a hot water bath.
