  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat canola oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Add broccoli stems and carrot; stir-fry 3-4 minutes until just tender.

  4. Push vegetables to the side; pour in beaten eggs (if using) and scramble until set.

  5. Stir in cooked brown rice; mix with vegetables and heat through.

  6. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil; season with salt and pepper to taste.
