Ingredients
- 8 oz whole-wheat angel hair pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp capers, rinsed and drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth (or water)
- Zest of 1/2 lemon (optional)

Instructions
Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain.
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add chicken; season with salt and pepper; cook until lightly browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in capers and broth; simmer 1-2 minutes.
Toss pasta with chicken mixture; season to taste with salt, pepper, and lemon zest if using.
Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
