- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions
Line a fine-mesh strainer with cheesecloth and set it over a bowl.
Combine the buttermilk, milk, and sea salt in a saucepan.
Heat gently over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until curds separate from the whey.
Remove from the heat and let stand briefly to allow the curds to settle.
Pour the mixture into the lined strainer and drain until the ricotta reaches the desired consistency.
