Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup hard red wheat
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon

Instructions
Rinse the hard red wheat under cold water.
Combine the water and wheat in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the wheat berries are tender, adding more water only if needed.
Drain any excess water and let the wheat berries cool.
Toss the cooled wheat berries with the fresh lemon juice and serve.
