Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and boiling water in a saucepan and stir until dissolved.

  2. Boil the syrup until thickened.

  3. Place tahini in a mixing bowl.

  4. Gradually pour the hot syrup into the tahini, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and pulls together.

  5. Transfer the mixture to a lined dish and press evenly.

  6. Let cool completely, then cut into 36 pieces.
