  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted,cooled

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 6 minutes.

  2. Transfer to paper towels, Crumble bacon.
