A simple dish of wide egg noodles pan-fried with butter, sweet onions, and cabbage.

Ingredients
- 4 cups wide egg noodles
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sweet onions, sliced about 1/8 inch thick
- Cabbage, sliced
Instructions
Cook the wide egg noodles in a large pot of boiling water until tender; drain.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced sweet onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened.
Add the sliced cabbage and cook until tender and lightly browned.
Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss with the cabbage and onions until heated through.
Serve warm.
