Man oh man is this bread good... This is a dessert bread. Bread is very moist with FABULOUS flavor and texture... It couldn't be any better... The best dessert bread I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Thanks Chris! I can tell you, this is one recipe not to be overlooked... It really is incredible!

Equipment

2 9x5-inch loaf pans, mixing bowl, oven

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 2 bananas, mashed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Grease and flour 2 9x5" loaf pans.

  3. Combine flour, soda, sugar, salt, and nuts in mixing bowl, and blend by hand.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  5. Bake at 350, for 1 hours in 2 greased and floured 9x5" loaf pans.
