Oven, 2 baking trays, mixing bowls
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup almond milk (you can use any milk)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (I prefer Italian flavored)
- 1 lb ground beef (low fat ground chuck is what I use)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 4 -5 garlic cloves (diced)
- 1/2 a medium onion (diced)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon pesto sauce
- 1 dash red pepper flakes (to personal taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 f.
Grease 2 baking trays slightly.
Mix together breadcrumbs and milk and let sit.
In a different bowl combine all other ingredients and mix. Seasonings can be changed and substituted at will. .
Combine the breadcrumb mixture with the rest of the ingredients.
Roll into balls and place onto baking trays (whatever size you like, I do a bit larger than a tablespoon).
Bake for 6 minutes.
Take out meatballs and flip over.
Bake another 6 minutes.
Cooking times may vary according to size.
