Equipment

Large cooking pan, lid, canning jars

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 lbs pumpkin flesh
  • 2 oranges
  • 4 lemons
  • 750 g sugar

Instructions

  1. Clean the seeds out of the pumpkin and cut the meat in small pieces.

  2. Peel the oranges and the lemons and peel off the white membrane.

  3. Cut the oranges and lemons in pieces and remove all seeds.

  4. In a big cooking pan, layer the pumpkin, and the fruit with the last layer being pumpkin.

  5. Sprinkle the sugar over all in the pan, put a lid on it and let it set in a cool place for one night.

  6. Cook the pot for at least 30 minutes so that the mixture becomes thick.

  7. Pour into canning jars and seal them good.
