Ingredients
- 2 pound of beef, stew meat
- butter, for sauté
- salt and pepper, to taste
- garlic, powder to taste
- 1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup
- 3-4 cubes of bouillon, beef
- 1 package of egg noodles
- carrots, desired amount
Instructions
Brown Place beef in a buttered pan and brown on all sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
Simmer Add approximately 8 cups of water (or enough to fill the pot without reaching the top). Simmer for 2-3 hours.
Add Add canned mushrooms, beef bouillon cubes, and more water if necessary.
Cook noodles In a separate pan, cook noodles per package instructions in another pot and drain well.
Add to beef and broth mixture Add cream of mushroom soup to beef and broth mixture. Should look stroganoff-y.
Cook carrots Boil carrots in water. Drain then season with butter and salt in another pot.
Serve Get you some noodles in a bowl, ladle you some beef and gravy, add a nice scoop full of carrots to be healthy. Voila. Midwest a la comfort.
