  • 4 1/2 cups of flour
  • 4 cups (or 1 pound) of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of butter, (Softened Salted Sweet Cream)
  • 2-3 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons of milk, or enough to get frosting spreadable

Instructions

  1. Mix Cream butter and sugar together.

  2. Add vanilla, milk & soda. Eggs (one at a time), salt, cream of tartar, 3 cups of flour - slowly.

  3. Add enough more flour to make the dough able to be rolled.

  4. Chill Chill for an hour at least.

  5. Roll and shape Roll dough out on floured cookie sheet. Try not to add too much flour when rolling.
