Ingredients

  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 3 cups of granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 cup of crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine milk, sugar and butter. Heat to a boil over low heat.

  2. Add pineapple and continue to simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring constantly.

  3. Cool and add lemon juice.

  4. Beat with mixer until ready to pour. (About 5 minutes)

  5. Pour into pan and cool to set.
