  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips
  • 6 tablespoons of butter, melted

For the Filling

  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of heavy cream

For Topping

  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • roasted peanuts, chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust
In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish, forming an even crust. Place the crust in the refrigerator to set while preparing the filling.
  • Make the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat together peanut butter, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until no streaks remain.
  • Fill the crust
Spoon the peanut butter filling into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
  • Make the Chocolate Ganache Topping
In a heatproof bowl, combine chocolate chips and 1/2 cup heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Let the chocolate ganache cool slightly before pouring it over the peanut butter filling.
  • Chill
Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until set.
  • Garnish (Optional)
Sprinkle chopped peanuts over the top (if desired)
