Emma’s Drop Donut Balls, a cherished family recipe, boasting hints of cinnamon and nutmeg for a nostalgic taste of home.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 egg(s)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 4 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Crisco for frying
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat
    Preheat the frying pan with Crisco
  2. Mix
    Sugar, eggs and milk thoroughly. Add the remaining 4 ingredients one at a time.
  3. Drop
    Drop dough by the spoonful into frying pan.
  4. Remove when golden brown on all sides.
  5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
